Dr. David Ritter, Interim Head of School

As we were recruiting for a Head of School, we came in contact with Dr. David Ritter from Guyton, Georgia. As we reviewed the resumes we were receiving, Dr. Ritter became our top candidate for the Head of School position at The Veritas School. We spoke to Dr. Ritter over the phone and Stuart Clarke also met with him near his home in Georgia.

The Board was very interested in Dr. Ritter and after several conversations it was determined that the best course was to immediately benefit from his experience and spiritual maturity by hiring him as a consultant as we continued through the selection process and finished out the school year. He has been in that role since the beginning of March and has proven to be an extremely beneficial resource and guide for us.

As we worked with Dr. Ritter we became increasingly appreciative of his godly insight and wisdom and have benefitted from his knowledge of Classical Christian education and his previous experience as a Headmaster and as a Consultant for Christian Schools International. As he worked with The Veritas School, he has become increasingly committed to helping us honor and glorify God as we live out our Mission to equip a new generation of Christian leaders to think and live biblically.

Having prayerfully considered what God’s will is for who should be leading our school, we believed that God was leading us to increase Dr. Ritter’s influence in the school by calling him as our interim Head of School.
